RF Risanamento Fognature SPA for Multy-Utility Etra Spa carried out the first application in Italy of UV liner for BB.S8 manholes in collaboration with Brandenburger Group and ProKASRO Mechatronik GmbH.
For the first time in Italy, in one day we rehabiltated d n. 2 POLYETHYLENE DN 1000 x 2500 h manholes with the UV Liner BB.S8 Vertical technique.
This technique has been created from the standard CIPP UV Liner for pipes and developed by Brandemburger-Liner by putting a special UV Liner that can be applied vertically and that can expand elastically to adapt to the shape of the DN 600 manhole cover and the DN 1000 mm manhole body. Meanwhile Prokasro has developed a 4.000 watts packer and light train UV system that can work vertically and curing a DN 1000 / 10 mm at about 20cm / min speed (20 min / manhole).
The result is a 14.000 N / mm2 monolithic fiberglass cladding that starts from the top and covers all the walls and the bottom of the manhole.
Another success for Risanamento Fognature SPA and its commercial partners. Thanks to the ETRA SPA Manager for the seriousness, competence and vision oriented towards Relining as a low environmental impact methodology for the rehabilitation of horizontal and VERTICAL sewage artifacts!
